• Sheryl Fluence: Founder & Director

    Born and raised in Belize, Sheryl faced the challenges of poverty firsthand. Now a registered nurse with an Associate of Nursing from Southern Adventist University and a BSN from Western Governors University, she lives in the US as a wife and mother. Deeply passionate about missions, Sheryl is eager to share the invaluable knowledge she has gained throughout her journey. She is dedicated to giving back to her fellow Belizeans by providing opportunities, emotional intelligence, and spiritual grounding, gifts that were once bestowed upon her. In this mission, she works alongside her childhood best friends, Luccuisha and Melissa, as well as their former primary school principal and teacher, Eugene Avila. Together, they are committed to paving the way to success for those seeking higher education and striving to overcome generational stagnation.

  • Luccuisha Conorquie: Liaison, Treasurer & Secretary

    Hailing from Belize, Luccuisha and Sheryl spent their entire childhoods growing up together and attending the same church. Luccuisha, a dedicated and driven primary and elementary school teacher at the very school they once attended, is deeply committed to her mission. Based in Belize City, she passionately works to instill positive values in her students while tirelessly addressing issues of generational poverty. Through her relentless efforts, Luccuisha is helping to shape the future doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs of Belize, striving to build a brighter future for her community.

  • Melissa Trapp-Leonardo: Wellness Coach

    Melissa, also a native of Belize, is a certified entrepreneur specializing in wellness coaching, hydrotherapy, and massage therapy. She holds an Associate degree in Biology from Independence Junior College and has furthered her education at Eden Valley Institute of Wellness, where she earned certifications as a Wellness Coach, Hydrotherapist, and Health Evangelist. Passionate about sharing her knowledge of health and wellness while embodying her love for Jesus, she is also a devoted wife and mother, demonstrating her commitment to well-being in both her personal and professional pursuits.

  • Eugene Avila: Education Advisor

    Eugene Avila, a Belizean by birth, worked as an educator, teacher, and principal at several schools in Belize before migrating to the USA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Belize, an Associate degree in Primary Education from the University of the West Indies, and Masters degrees in Social Work and Educational Supervision from Southern Adventist University. Currently, Eugene is a Licensed Master Social Worker with Dialysis Clinic Incorporated in Chattanooga, TN. He resides in Tennessee with his wife and their three adult children.
